The Alexandria Police Department is conducting an investigation into the death of a 21-year-old male in the 5800 block of Quantrell Avenue.
Around 9:49 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, officers responded to the report of a person found dead behind a building. The cause and manner of death will be determined through an autopsy.
