Alexandria resident Joe Murray recently announced his bid for Virginia’s 39th District Senate seat, which includes parts of Fairfax County, the city of Alexandria and Prince William County.
“As the father of two, I know how important it is to improve our community and our State for the next generation,” Murray said in a statement. “That means expanding opportunities for all Virginians by creating higher paying jobs that match our cost of living, strengthening our economy and improving our schools.”
Murray serves as a U.S. Senate Legislative Counsel. In 2009, he ran for the 46th District House of Delegates seat and was defeated by Charniele Herring.
