Enjoy the best that fall has to offer at the 22nd annual Fall for Fairfax KidsFest, Saturday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax. Northern Virginia’s largest family fall festival includes more than 100 interactive activities, exhibits and programs focusing on education, sport and fitness, the environment, public safety, and personal health. Activities include: Inova Health Stage, Fall for Fairfax Trackless Train, Farmers’ Market, Pony Rides, Instrument Petting Zoo, Scarecrow Making, Petting Zoo, Model Trains, Pumpkin Decorating, KidWay MidWay rides and dozens of performances geared specifically to elementary school and toddler-aged children. Additionally this year’s festival includes an expanded County Corner featuring a straw maze, and Pickleball court! Fall for Fairfax KidsFest is FREE to attend; however, select activities require a minimal charge.
All-day super passes, which include unlimited turns on the Kidway Midway, moon bounces, and the trackless train, will be sold online at www.fallforafairfax.com at discounted prices prior to the festival. Individual tickets and super passes will also be sold on site. Weekend passes are available online only.
In addition to all of the fun fall activities, three festival stages will feature a line-up of popular children’s performers, including: The Curiosity Crew starring Ryan Buckle, Bert The Nerd’s Thrill Show, The Great Zucchini, Wildlife Ambassadors, Mr. Gabe and The Circle Time All-Stars, and Mad Science, as well as the music and dance of Fairfax’s diverse community. For a quick snack or a relaxing family meal, a variety of tasty dining options are available at the festival food court, and fresh produce can be purchased from the Farmers’ Market. Also, the Community Expo located on the patio in front of the Government Center building will highlight various nonprofit organizations that serve Fairfax County.

The 22nd annual Fall for Fairfax KidsFest is a presentation of Celebrate Fairfax, Inc. and will be held Saturday - Sunday, Oct. 4-5. Celebrate Fairfax, Inc. is a nonprofit, 501(c) 3 organization commissioned in 1982 by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
