Are you interested in trying out an art class, but not sure which one is right for you? Then don’t miss the annual Workhouse Education Open House on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 12-3 p.m. Come and learn about the hundreds of educational programs offered at the Workhouse. Free, family-friendly activities will include live demonstrations by studio artists, face-painting, mural painting, and mini-workshops and art-talks for all ages as well as cotton candy and balloons for children
Many instructors will also be on-site to answer questions regarding Fall and Winter classes. As a special bonus, class registrations made at the Education Open House will receive a 10 percent discount. Make sure to be there early to catch a special theatrical treat at noon in the Rizer Pavilion Tent.
One must be present at the Open House to receive the 10 percent discount. Only weekly classes are eligible for this offer. The discount does not apply to workshops.
