The 2014 Gannett Regional Nonprofit Forum will be held on Nov. 6, 7:45 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Gannett Worldwide Headquarters, 7950 Jones Branch Drive in McLean.
Help build a pyramid of canned goods for Martha's Table by bringing non-perishable canned-food items to the Nonprofit Forum.
Items most in need include:
Canned beans--black beans, baked beans, red beans
Low-sodium canned vegetables--carrots, peas, tomatoes, potatoes
Canned fruit (packed in water or lite syrup)--peaches, apple sauce, pineapple, orange segments, fruit salad
Canned proteins--tuna, chicken, salmon, chili, beef stew
Canned pasta, pasta sauce, tomato sauce
Avoid glass containers. Do not donate peanut butter, soft drinks, candy, or snacks.
Join with nonprofit leaders, United Way NCA President and CEO Rosie Allen-Herring and Martha's Table President and CEO Patty Stonesifer as they lead a discussion around the "Value of Community Collaboration: Impacting Revenue, Advocacy and Service Delivery."
Engage in breakout sessions where regional industry experts will share best practices on topics including:

Collaboration that Drives Effective Service Delivery Panel of Christian Deschauer, Amy Gould, Terry Liercke, and Kris Unger of the Fairfax County Restoration Project facilitated by Andy Surine, M&T Bank.
