Fort Hunt Elementary is a joyful place. You learn a lot and make new friends. Not only that but teachers like to make learning fun and exciting. Also they have fun activities like the Fox Trot because the Fox Trot is full of laughter and excitement. They have family things at night like the winter dance, fall carnival, spring fling, silent auction and even the spring and winter concerts. The teachers and staff love being around kids and also being at the school. Many parents like the school and enjoy having their kids go there. Specials are also fun because you get to do things like P. E., music, Art and library. Also they let kids do things like the news show and be safety patrols. At the end of the year they also have a going away party for the sixth graders. It's also a Spanish immersion school which is fun because you can have half English and half Spanish.
Also if you want to do band in 4th grade you can try strings in 3rd grade. Also over summer vacation you can do Camp Invention and kids from any school can go. Not only do the teachers like the kids, the kids like the teachers.
