Rescue Reston is a grass-roots organization comprising community volunteers who oppose redevelopment of Reston National Golf Course into residential housing or any site development other than a golf course or comparable open space. This public golf course on the south side of Reston has Reston Association paths crossing its 166 acres and connecting to Lakes Audubon, Thoreau and the Walker Nature Center.
