Around 25 scouts from Troop 976 Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Vienna and their families visited the Arlington National
Cemetery on May 25 to pay their respects to the soldiers who have given their lives over the years for the United States’ liberty and security. The scouts laid over 6,300 roses throughout various sections of the cemetery, including graves of recent fallen from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The roses that decorated the graves were shipped from Ecuador just for this occasion, as stated by one scout, Nicholas Zaso, who was interviewed by the Ecuadorian Embassy Press.
