To the Editor:
I commend Alex McVeigh for his piece on the water contamination issue ("Station Remediation Plan Nears Completion," Great Falls Connection, August 14-20, 2013). My wife and I attended the meeting, which was long (over two hours) and complicated, even tedious and occasionally a bit contentious.
Alex did a superb job of capturing the important points and summarizing the issues and the meeting. After spending five minutes reading Alex's article, I can say to citizens of Great Falls who may be interested in the issues concerning water pollution from the former Exxon station but missed the meeting, that Alex's reporting will tell them succinctly and well what transpired. We look forward to more reporting of community matters by Alex.
