Food shelves
Alexandria — Nine Bishop Ireton High School students traveled to Catholic Charities’ Christ House in Alexandria on Sept. 11. They were accompanied by Director of Admissions Peter Hamer and Dean of Faculty Don Dight. Christ House received its first Fall Harvest drop off at 10 a.m., and the students came to help with the food. They were there about 90 minutes and they unloaded the food, checked the expiration labels, weighed, and sorted it on shelves.
