On Sunday, Nov. 18, members of the Churchill Road Ready to Run program participated in Vienna's 10K Turkey Trot. The girls in the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades have been practicing for this run throughout the semester, under the coaching of Langley seniors Elissa Purdy, Khaki Stanford, Emily Flessas, Jessica Miles and Becky Powell. The Ready to Run members arrived at 7 a.m. and braved early morning temperatures to participate, but reported they had a great time.
