Last weekend parents and patrons were treated to a showcase of rising talent on stage at the Little Theatre of Alexandria. The Singing for Musical Theatre Class performed a “Broadway Musical Revue,” Creative Dramatics went on stage with “Tales for Beatrix Potter,” “Leaping Beauty” came into action with the members of the Animals in Action group, “Toy School” was enacted by the Tweeners Creative Dramatic Class, middle school students took Shakespeare on stage with the “Haunting of Will Shakespeare” and the High School Improv Troupe just created works out of suggestions. The showcase was produced by Genie Baskir and the stage manager was Rob Cork. At the Little Theatre, Roland Branford Gomez is the governor of education.
