Coldwell Banker staff in its Arlington office collected over 900 pounds of food and supplies for the Capitol City Food Bank.
Every year Coldwell Banker holds a food drive to help the Capital Area food bank. Times have been tough and the food bank pantry really needs replenishing. The Coldwell Banker Harvest for the Hungry Food Drive was another great success this year. Last Saturday my agents stood outside the Safeway at Cherrydale collecting donations.
The Arlington office alone collected over 900 pounds of food and supplies for the Capitol City Food Bank. What was collected will go directly to the local area food banks.
We are honored to have the opportunity to help our community and want to thank everyone who came out to Safeway to contribute. The generosity of our community despite tough times is amazing! Be sure to look for our drive next year — help us set another record.
Also a big thank you to Girl Scout Troop 4160 who helped make it fun. People bought cookies and donated them … what a concept!
