The special election to fill the vacant County Board seat created by the resignation of Barbara Favola, who now serves in the State Senate, will take place Tuesday, March 27. All polling places are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Virginia Public Access Project has posted the campaign finance reports of the three candidates seeking that seat. The reports cover activity from Jan. 1 through March 16:
Libby Garvey, Democrat, raised $46,701and has $27,800 on hand.
Mark Kelly, Republican, raised $45,343 and has $5,778 on hand.
Audrey Clement, Green party, raised $3,934 and has $775 on hand.
