To help promote healthy lifestyles, the Armstrong Elementary Wellness Committee organized a nutrition and wellness obstacle course for students. On Feb. 21 – 22, students at Armstrong Elementary learned about the importance of healthy eating, proper rest, physical activity, and limiting TV and video game time on a daily basis. Kindergarten through sixth grade students were able to bring these wellness concepts to life during physical education classes, as they moved through the obstacle course, which involved nutritional choice scenarios that students make in their everyday lives.
