Arlington — According to a Department of Defense release on Tuesday, June 26, Lance Cpl. Niall W. Cotisears, 23, of Arlington, died while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan on June 23. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, Calif.
