To the Editor:
I am a graduate of Carl Sandburg Middle School and still have many friends that go there. I attended the presentation on the plans to renovate Carl Sandburg Middle School, and I was impressed by how much it will be renovated.
One thing that would help the school a lot would be to increase the amount of natural lighting. When I went to school there last year, everybody in my class hated the poor lighting. It’s so dark that when students go outside and it’s so bright that they can’t see anything until their eyes adjust. So, my suggestion is to add more windows and increase the size of the current windows.
