Centreville — Hoops of Hope is coming to the nZone on Saturday, Aug. 25 to raise money for children around the world orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
Hoops of Hope is a free-throw marathon. Similar to a walk-a-thon, participants raise awareness and funds for children who have been orphaned by HIV/AIDS by shooting free throws. All of the funds raised through the free throw marathons go directly to care for orphan children in highly affected areas.
The nZone is located at 14550 Lee Rd., Chantilly. The event, which has no age requirement, runs 5-9 p.m.
