The summer sailing camp at the Washington Sailing Marina on Daingerfield Island is in full till as the students take to boats and try their hands at navigating the wind to the sails. The first day of the summer weekly classes brings the students out on the sunfish. Staying out of the no-go zone is the objective. The object is to tact and move the sail and tiller so the wind powers the boat. By noon most of the students have a sense of it. Classes run all summer.
