All restaurants are invited to apply for food vendor booth space at the 17th annual Taste of the Town at Reston Town Center, Saturday, June 16, noon-10:30 p.m. Taste of the Town applications and guidelines are available from the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. Curves of Reston will be collecting groceries for the Reston Interfaith Food Pantry through Saturday, March 31.

Non-perishable groceries can be dropped off by prospective Curves members, current members, or anyone interested in contributing to this food drive. The Reston Interfaith Food Pantry complete wish list can be found at www.restoninterfaith.org/pantry.html.

Curves of Reston is located at 12056 North Shore Drive in the Tall Oaks Village Center. Hours of operation when food can be dropped off are Monday through Friday 7 a.m.-8:30 p.m., Saturdays 8 a.m.- 1 p.m., and Sundays 1-5 p.m. Call 703-467-5900.

Seven Fairfax County sites have been registered by the Fairfax County Park Authority for the 19th annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup, to be held 9-11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 31. Some sites are also looking for volunteers on other dates, from March 24 to April 14. To reserve a section of the watershed at a park authority site, contact the site directly. Advanced registration is required. Leadership Fairfax Inc. announced that Verizon Communications is the tournament sponsor for its annual LFI/ELI golf tournament on May 21.
