<sh>Dog Fight

<bt>Two dog owners were bitten when their dogs began to fight Wednesday, June 9, in the 1100 block of Crestview Drive. According to Herndon Police, a 47-year-old Herndon woman was walking her Labrador retriever when two pit bulls reportedly escaped from a yard and attacked the Labrador retriever. While trying to separate the animals, both owners received multiple lacerations and bites. Both owners were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries and were later released.

The pit bulls were turned over to Fairfax County Animal Control. The owner of the two dogs, Brigida Aiquipa, 45, of Herndon, was charged with two counts of animal at large, by Fairfax County Animal Control.
