Firefighters displayed some of their equipment and the techniques they use in fighting fires, in responding to accidents and in river rescues on Oct. 5, at Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire Department’s annual open house.
“Several hundred people were there,” said Cabin John Spokesperson Eugene Roesser.
The company also had a variety of treats and safety tips for those who came. They were able to raise approximatley $1,600 for the station.
