Amy McKeever of Springfield, a junior majoring in public communications in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, was recently named to the University’s “University 100.” University 100 is a selective group of student volunteers who work directly with the chancellor’s office and the Office of Admission and serve as ambassadors of Syracuse University. Members are selected based on outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement. University 100 members share experiences at Syracuse University with prospective students and parents, members of the Board of Trustees, alumni and visiting dignitaries.
Megan Angwin, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Robert K. Angwin of Springfield, has been named to the dean’s list at Washington College in Chestertown, Md. To earn dean’s list honors, students must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.4 or higher. Megan is majoring in international studies and economics.
